Today, I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 1000 5th Ave, New York, NY 10028, United States of America. I saw glorious paintings, beautiful sculptures, great murals, and exhibits that made my mind think. I observed art in many different cultures and backgrounds that created man differences between the murals, sculptures, exhibits, and paintings. I learnt about the techniques that the artists used which made the art stand out and illustrated the emotions through us. I learnt that art can be expressed in many different ways. Another thing I had learned from visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art was how different placements of colors, shapes, and lines can change our perspective on how we view the art and what the artist is trying to send a message across. Furthermore, I learned about the different objects used the make the art. For example, an artist used a sponge for one painting to create a resounding effect. Another artist weaved together a bunch of materials like aluminum and fabric by using copper wire which created a great effect that reflected the lighting making the art seem vibrant. I learned that you can control your strokes and lines when painting abstract art using a paintbrush hovering over the air with paint. Also, I learned about how the artist used materials ranging from objects found in the trash to objects online to create and design their art. Now since I gone to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to learn about artistic techniques and design, I think I would use and remix some elements of the artists that had their art displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in my website with my own originality. I would design my website to mirror my passion for games and technology. I would have colorful and vibrant backgrounds. I would have clear and direct User Interface so that users would have easy access to my website. I would have games and videos on tabs and pages. I would have a FAQ or a DBQ so that people can talk about website related topics. I would also have a rating system so that people can rate my or others games and videos. I would design it to my target audience, (mostly gamers) by placing gaming themes. Another way would be placing internet culture because most of my audience would get most of the elements I put into my website. Furthermore I would place games for my target audience to play that they might enjoy. Also, I would place texts like "Action Games" or "Puzzle Fun Fare" so my target audience will know what my website is about. So when the gamers come to my site, they would most likely feel welcome and at home.
