The goal of the Lab 1 was to place pictures with different angles from a camera which I taken photos off onto Photoshop. First off I opened Adobe Photoshop CC 2017. Next I plugged in the USB port connected to the camera into the Mac computer to upload the photos I taken. Once the photos have been uploaded, I click File on the top left hand corner. Once File has been clicked, I clicked on Place Embedded. Then a window showed up and I clicked photos to get my photo files. I clicked on my photo file named 20170930. That file showed all my photos that I have taken. I double clicked on a photo to place it on photoshop. Next I held shift and moved my mouse to a corner off the photo. While holding shift, I held my mouse from the a corner off the picture and moved it towards the middle of the picture to make the image smaller. I let go of my mouse to let the image resize its shape. I clicked on the picture again and held my mouse button. I moved the mouse to move the picture to the selected spot. I repeated these steps until I got all my required photos and their angles on Photoshop. After that, I used the text tool on Photoshop and created text boxes so I can type in the words for the picture. I typed in the viewpoint of the pictures inside the text boxes. I clicked on the layers tab on Photoshop. I double clicked on the names on the bars in the layers tab and changed the names to the viewpoint angles of the pictures. Finally I made another text box and typed in my name, class name, date, and LAB 1. These skills are important for a web designer because it teaches the web designer how to make their projects beautiful and smooth. Another reason is that Photoshop skills will make the web designer more efficient and creative in their works. This is because they will know how to use and manipulate photos to place on their projects like websites. Also learning how to work in Photoshop will grant you more job opportunities for you than if you didn't learn Photoshop.
